Fathers Day Gift Guide
Fathers Day Gift Guide
On Sunday 20th June the day that we celebrate all the dads and father-figures in our lives will be here again and hopefully one to remember as we'll all be able to actually spend it with them once again. However we do feel it's important to say that if this time of year is a difficult one for you, please feel free to click off this blog post. We have other blog posts you can read through, or simply have a little browse on our website. Either way, we understand, so do what's best for you.
First and foremost we're so excited about stocking Chilly's bottles that we've just got to include them! These are a practical gift with an added touch of luxury that would be ideal for the man who loves the outdoors. If he's already got a reusable water bottle, then alternatively you could always gift him one of the insulated food pots so he can take breakfast on the go wherever he's headed.
One thing you can never go wrong with is a good mug. By now most of you will know that we've always got an Emma Bridgewater mug for every occasion, and Father's day is no exception. Whether it's one of the lovely Dad mugs or perhaps one simply with his favourite animal or scene on, we're sure he'll be pleased.
Is the special man in your life a busy one? If he's someone who spends a lot of time at the office (even if that's at home nowadays), stationery is great for being a gift that's useful but still oozes style and a personal touch. The Voyager journals are exactly this, with their sleek design and handy refills, as are the Bookaroo notebooks with the bonus of all their accessories to add to it.
Now for a product for those who own that typical man cave. Whether it's a simple shed or a full-blown hideout, make it complete with one of these fab signs from Austin Sloan, or a bottle opener for when he's snuck out there for a peaceful beer on a Friday evening. These are also great for dads with a good sense of humour.
The Asta Barrington Beer tray might be another one for the man cave to serve beers or other drink choices on. Or it would even look brilliant just as a decorative display of love for his favourite drink.
Gisela Graham's mini mugs and jugs are always popular in our shop. The novelty of their simple yet cute and fun designs always go down a treat as gifts. You could give the tools one for the garden lover, or perhaps a sailboat for the guy who loves the sea.
Finally, it's always heart-warming to sprinkle a little bit of sentiment into a gift, and the same applies to dads, grandads and father-figures alike. As always, East of India is your most reliable choice here, with hanging hearts, coasters or trinkets that always seem to say the right thing. Pop one in with your gift for that final touch of love and we think your Fathers day gift might just be complete. Now all you need is a card..
And for the cards, we have our usual array of gorgeous Emma Bridgewater designs, along with plenty of other playful or sentimental themes for every type of man out there.
