VE day, or Victory in Europe Day as it's formally known, celebrates the day that millions of people were able to return to their homes and families. It's a special day, and one that we think probably holds particular importance this year, with many people being stuck away from loved ones, waiting for the day we can all reunite once more.

But, it's important to remain positive so we suggest still celebrating it in some way that you can, perhaps by still decorating your home a bit, and by holding a virtual tea party?

Being a proudly British brand, Emma Bridgewater of course has a wonderful mug dedicated to the day. It's beautifully designed with everything that summarises Britain and that day: bunting, planes flying home, a vintage car with people celebrating, with the phrase "and the bells rung throughout Britain" just completes it.
