South Moltons Olde English Fayre
Lets hope the weather improves this week for South Moltons Olde English Fayre - Thurssday 16th June to Saturday 19th June.
South Molton has so much to offer for the community and the town is a great place to visit for all of your shopping needs. There are great gift shops, clothing for children and adults, jewellery and bag shops, plus cafes, sandwich bars and pubs for food. You can also buy all of your local fruit and veg and meat at our local veg and butchers shops.
There are great events in the main square and in the pannier market in South Molton
Thursday 16th: 10.00am Fayre Coffee Morning in the Old Assembly Rooms, 7.30pm Sequence Dancing in the Church Hall, Duke Street
Fayre Day (18th) will feature: Entertainment throughout the day including Punch and Judy, Face Painting, Drumming and Dance Displays. Market stalls in the Pannier Market, Craft & Charity stalls, Maypole Dancing, Displays by the Fire Service, Crowning of the Queen, The Floral Dance, Followed by a family evening in the Assembly Rooms.
On the Sunday there will be a Civic Parade at 10.40am and Beating the Bounds (starting at Mole Bridge) at 2.30pm
