Let's get cracking with Easter
Let's get cracking with Easter
It's really starting to feel like spring is truly on it's way now, don't you think? The daffodils are in full bloom, the first lambs can be spotted frolicking in the fields, and hot cross buns and mini eggs are back in the supermarkets. It can only mean one thing: Easter is nigh. And it's really going to sneak up on us this year as it's fallen early, at the end of March, so this time in 2 weeks it will be Easter Sunday. But let's not dwell on how fast time is passing and instead get stuck into all things Easter. We're going to run you through some goodies we've been loving to help you get stuck into the fun of it all and get you inspired.
Egg tins for storing treats
We've had a great variety of egg tins this year and we're loving them all. The Emma Bridgewater ones are always a classic, but the Sara Miller ones are a slightly more sophisticated design, great for older kids who still want to feel included.
Pieces to get Easter blooming in your home
If you, like us, love to bring some spring freshness into your home then here are a few treats to help you do that for Easter. Of course the Emma Bridgewater mini eggs collection is perfect for any seasonal baking you might be doing whilst also adding a pop of those gorgeous spring pastel colours into your kitchen. We've also got some fabulous bunny table pieces, gorgeous candles and candlesticks and of course, tonnes of Easter tree decorations too.
For the fun stuff
It wouldn't be Easter without the fun stuff. Whether that's baking some treats, going on egg hunts, or getting crafty. The Talking Tables bunny basket and bunny ears are essentials for any hunting you and the little ones might be doing this year. Vert sweet and can be used over and over again. We always think a fun alternative to a chocolate egg gift is one of the super soft Jellycats, especially if it's one of their spring characters like a fluffy chick, a bunny or even an egg. They're so cute and can be kept for life. We've also got other bits and bobs such as a bunny pin from Coral & Mint which would be lovely to pop into an Easter card, and plenty of other sweet little treats.
Sending love in the post
Sending Easter cards may be a tradition not as common as it used to be, but as card enthusiasts we're always up for an excuse to send one. We love the idea of sending an Easter card to wish someone well for the spring season in general and the feeling of new beginnings that comes with it.
So there are a few of our favourite Easter treats to get you inspired. We recommend ordering your goodies sooner rather than later because again, it's sneaking up on us quickly. Whether you'll be doing much for this holiday or not, we hope the Easter weekend can provide some rest and recuperation ahead of the new season for you.
Happy Easter Daisy Parkers xx
